Meet the Team
Legacies of Veridocia currently has nine active member, many past contributors, and interested parties. The contributors highlighted below have been with the team from the beginning in 2008 as well as recently as 2014. See below for our current contributors and their roles as well as a small sampling of the artwork associated with some of their favorite characters.
Keegan McCarthy
Project Lead
Keegan is one of the five founders of Legacies of Veridocia and has been working on the project since 2008. Outside of being a project lead, he also serves as Lead Script Writer, Story Editor, Character Developer, Map and Battle Designer, Mechanics and Statistics Lead, Sound Effects/ Music Acquirer, Webmaster, and Social Media Manager.
Brian Amell
Lead Artist
Brian joined the team in mid-2010 and has served as the Lead Artist since 2011. He finalizes all of the visual art and is the Lead Artist for Icon Sprites, Spell Animations, Portraits, Battle Sprites, Map Sprites, Backgrounds and Platforms.
Kevin Redenz
Map Design Lead
Kevin joined the team in 2008 and focuses primarily on creating overworld, town, and battle maps. Most of Kevin's work is done by scratch but he has also worked closely with others to translate their ideas into usable maps.
Giuseppe T.
Programming
Giuseppe joined the team in 2017 and has focused on assisting with programming the engine. He has also spent a lot of time preparing the second demo and putting all of the various pieces together to make the game.
Jon Chown
Script Editor
Jon joined the team in 2014 and has primarily focused on editing the script and providing input to the story. He has also submitted icon sprites, font critiques and ideas for game mechanics.
Peter Dale
Project Lead
Peter is one of the five founders of Legacies of Veridocia and has been working on the project since 2008. Outside of being a project lead, he also servers as Script Editor, Story Editor, Character Developer, Mechanics and Statistics Lead, Sound Effects/ Music Acquirer, Cinematic and Animation Compiling Lead, and Programmer.
Broked
Lead Programmer
Broked has been the Lead Programmer since joining the team in 2014. He is responsible for creating and maintaining the game engine that allows for Legacies of Veridocia to come to life and be played.
Johannes Hüsing
Map and Battle Design
Johannes joined the team in 2009 and has assisted in creating maps and designing battles. Johannes has also been a large source of input into the direction and execution of the game as a whole, offering his insights into most facets of the game.
L. Porteous
Portraits and Sprites
"Wyndigo" officially joined the team in 2014 after a few years of following the project. She has redesigned multiple portraits, battle sprites, and map sprites and created many others from scratch.
Ethan Rowe
Script Editor
Ethan officially joined the team in 2014 and has provided input in the direction and execution of the script, story, and character developments.
